About Me

Hi! Thank you for your interest in Heritage Lane Design! My name is Jessi Reel, and I’m the owner and lead designer at HLD. I graduated with a degree in Interior Design from Stephen F. Austin State University in 2008. While I was there, I fell in love with a fourth generation home builder. We married in 2009, and for the past 15 years we have been building and designing homes together. I started Heritage Lane Design in 2019 with the desire to help others reflect the love of beauty that God instilled in us through cultivating functional and beautiful spaces in our lives. I’d love the opportunity to help you realize your dream space! Because of my experience in home building, I specialize in new home construction and remodels, but also provide full service interior design.

This house is going to be a MUST SEE! My install day bag is never complete without a hair dryer! Gently blow dry those pesky sticker tags for about 10 seconds on hot, and they easily peel off cleanly every time. So satisfying! I find this especially comes in handy for picture frames-why do they put the stickers on the front?! Tickets for the parade are on sale now; see you June 1-9! I’ll never forget the first day I walked through this home. It had so much charm and potential, and I instantly fell in love with the owners and their vision. Working on this remodel was a dream! We were able to rehab a 1955 home while keeping its original charm and making it functional for a modern family. Plus I got a new bestie out of the deal! A true dream project.
